It's Playtime!

Can you believe our first Mercy House baby is already nine months old?? Precious is pulling up on everything from the coffee table to the dining room chairs and developing her pre-walking skills...all with a big, beautiful smile on her face:

All of the babies are growing quickly, and we have been busy creating a plan for the babies to learn and develop alongside their mommies. Maureen recently visited a nearby Christian children's home, and we have adapted their daily schedule for The Mercy House. The older babies (4 mos.+) are on a fairly regular schedule, eating and napping around the same times each day. The girls have also been able to get the babies on a solid sleep schedule with the babies sleeping from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night! It's really going great!

As part of our development plan for the babies, we've arranged a Baby Stimulation Room where the girls and their babies can enjoy playtime together. Thanks to the generous donations from supporters just like you, we've been able to stock the room with bright, cheerful toys that encourage play and development. This Summer, a team will be visiting to paint the walls and lay colorful foam flooring. For now, however, the girls and the babies are enjoying the room immensely:

If you're a monthly sponsor, remember to login and view the girls' updated profiles where you can learn more about them and see their newest pictures. Thank you again for supporting The Mercy House and helping us love mercy!
